Studio Rose is downtown, so give yourself a little extra time to find parking. Street parking and nearby public parkades are usually the best options. If you are unloading a lot of gear, use legal loading areas only, keep the unload brief, and never block neighbouring businesses, driveways, entrances, or posted no-parking areas.

Your date is held once the required retainer is paid. Card payments confirm right away through Square. E-transfer bookings confirm once the payment is received and matched to your booking reference. For custom or invoiced bookings, the retainer is due within 72 hours of the invoice unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Guest Wi-Fi is available for studio bookings. Network details are shared in your arrival information or posted inside the studio.

You will receive a one-time PIN code for the studio door. Inside, the studio keys hang on the coat rack to the left of the door. The main building doors are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend bookings include entrance meet-up support, and after-hours bookings must arrive before 5:00 PM to collect keys.

The washrooms are the two doors next to the studio. There is a women's washroom and a men's washroom, and both keys are on the studio key chain.

Retainers are non-refundable as a cash refund once a booking is confirmed. With at least 72 hours notice, the retainer can be banked as studio credit and used toward a new rental within three months. Cancellations inside 72 hours, same-day cancellations, and no-shows are not eligible for refund or credit. If Studio Rose needs to cancel and a replacement time cannot be arranged, payments already made will be refunded.

The best light shifts with the season, weather, and time of day. Peak daylight hours are usually brightest, while the shoulder hours tend to feel softer and more ambient. If your shoot depends on a specific light quality, DM us before booking and we can help you choose a good window.

Yes. Music is welcome at a respectful volume. Studio Rose is in a shared building, so please keep neighbouring businesses and tenants in mind throughout your booking.

Alcohol must be discussed and approved before your booking. If alcohol is being served or sold for an event or production, the renter is responsible for any required permits, licensing, and safe conduct.

Online rentals are offered in 2 hour, 4 hour, 8 hour, and 16 hour options. Multi-day studio bookings are available by custom quote.

Retainers can be paid by card through Square or by Interac e-Transfer. Remaining balances may be paid by Square payment link or e-Transfer. Please include your booking reference with every e-Transfer so the payment can be matched quickly.

No. Studio rentals are private for the time you booked. There may be other people in the building, but your reserved studio time is yours.

Yes, as long as items are moved carefully and returned to where you found them before you leave. Please be gentle with walls, floors, furniture, and styling pieces.

No. Smoking, vaping, incense, and open flames are not allowed inside the studio or building.

Standard rentals do not require a separate cleaning deposit, but the studio must be left clean and reset. Excessive mess may result in a $65 cleaning fee, and any damaged or missing items will be charged to the booking client.

Please book the studio for the actual use you have planned. Unauthorized events, parties, or uses outside the confirmed booking details may be ended early, and paid fees may be forfeited.

Yes. There are two elevators on the main floor, and the studio unit is located on the second floor.
